According to the Indian / Marathi panchang, Maharaj were born on Falgun Mase Krishna Pakshe Tritiya Shalivahana Shake 1551 on the date Uttarayana 30 Ghati (फाल्गुन मासे कृष्ण पक्षे तृतीया शालीवहन शके 1551 या तिथीला उत्तरायण 30 घटी) i.e. at sunset and according to the English calendar (Julian chronology) on Tuesday 19th February, 1630 around 06.30 to 07.00 pm i.e. at the time of sunset, Maharaj were born. Maharaj were born at Shivneri Fort at Junnar Taluka, Pune District, Maharashtra State, India (Address is mentioned according to current road map system). As mentioned in Jedhe Shakavali, birth time is ‘Ghati 18 Palle 31 Gad 5 Palle 7’ (घटी 18 पळे 31 गड 5 पळे 7) .
The British introduced the Gregorian calendar from September 14, 1752 and it is the same calendar currently used in India. So according to current chronology (English calendar / months) Maharaj’s birth date is proved to be on Friday March 01, 1630.
