Military Camp (शिबंदीची घरटी):
This is a place where all officers, generals, and other troops are accommodated in the fort.
Tanks / Ponds (टाके / तलाव):
Water is a vital necessity and for that every fort was adequately provided with tanks, ponds, wells etc.
Pushkarni Lake (पुष्करणी तलाव):
Pushkarni Lake is a lake with a unique design and artistic construction. This lake of religious importance was created for sacred and religious purposes. Pushkarni lakes are found at forts like Harishchandragad, Prasannagad etc.

Dam (बंधारा):
A water reservoir constructed in a catchment area. A dam was built to store excess water.
Discussion Room / Court (सदर):
Sadar is a very important place of the fort. It is from this that the work of the fort, the work of justice. Important decisions and meetings were made here. Sadar was on the fort or on the loft depending on the fort.
Types of Sadar:
Raj Sadar
Killedarachi Sadar
Tatsarnaubatachi Sadar etc.
Palace (राजवाडा):
Special accommodation for the king and royal family in the fort.
Flagpole (ध्वजस्तंभ):
A place to mark the empire that ruled the fort. Mainly flagpoles were on towers at high places.
